Dr. Pielet employs endoscopic techniques to perform certain types of facial cosmetic procedures because he discovered through the years that his patients suffered less swelling, less bruising and more natural results.
“I’ve been doing surgery for about sixteen years, and every time I operate I think ‘there’s got to be a better way,’” he says. “That’s certainly true for endoscopic surgery, where I can make smaller incisions and get someone back to work sometimes within three days after a browlift, for example.”
While he researches the newest technlogies in textbook fashion, he points out that “there’s a certain art form that’s hard to teach,” and he uses rhinoplasty as an example. “It’s a three-dimensional, analytical concept you just have to understand.” His innovative surgical techniques have been featured on television, garnering him extra attention for his progressive approach to facial plastic surgery.
